The Florida Waters

Several researchers of the Florida waters had documented about saving the area of the corals from a destructive project related to Dredging. In Broward county is known to be a unique area that contains the most precious coral reefs in the continental part of the United States. There are located at a far distance from the shore, which provides them more safety to pollution and urban run off.

The Florida waters designation is being sought to increase the level of the Florida water conservation, protection and quality for the purpose of maintaining the current marine life. In Broward county the only area with native beach sand and has never experience a beach dredge is the Fort Lauderdale by the Sea ecosystem. A very known Florida water park is called Fort Lauderdale by the Sea Marine Park. This park provides secure shoreline to a swimming area. The secure shoreline access will extend for snorkeling and diving experience. This area includes a motorized water craft. The Florida water temperature varies depending on its region.

The Florida waters of Broward county are known to be critical habitat for the Staghorn and Elkhorn coral. In the south part of Florida there is a governmental agency by the name of South Florida Water Management District, which is the one responsible for the quality, supply, restoration and flood control of the water in South Florida.
